Are you confused with rules regarding the virus? I am, it seems to change moment by moment, one moment we can gather the next we can’t, and so on. Lock down has compelled us to slow down, not a bad thing, family time is just that, family time, dads taking a bigger part as they work from home, enjoying their children. There are always positive changes in any melt down situation, the mind slows, we become more compassionate, nature enjoying the bonus of non interference by us humans, the balance restoring. I’m watching my little pond with new found interest, the water boatman swimming avidly, the frog has reappeared and the Newts have laid their eggs. fasinating and mysterious at the same time, all these things happen naturally and quietly, almost in secret. Our Reiki practice needs to happen naturally without a lot of fuss and preparation, being in the moment and enjoying the feeling of Satori (enlightenment). Just being. Just being who we truly are.
So often I hear from people who say that they had an hour and a half of self healing and didn’t feel anything! Not surprising the mind must have gone into overload, which in turn leads to weak energy, it takes only moments to self heal, being in that moment is the only moment. The energy is natural and will flow, if we try to ‘make it happen’ it won’t work, stripping ourselves of ego is hard to do, but that needs to be our ultimate aim. No one can make any of this happen, only ourselves, seeing life as a moment, no past, present or future, is so important, man invented time, from where I wonder.
I am running a Shinpiden course over 3 weeks in August, I trust in the system of Reiki that it will take place, without anymore rules!

Love this quote:
Therefore the Master
acts without doing anything
and teaches without saying anything
Things arise and she lets them come;
things disappear and she lets them go.
She has but doesn’t possess,
acts but doesn’t expect.
When her work is done, she forgets it.
That is why it lasts forever.
Tao Te Ching.
