Reiki Meditation

Do we learn meditation and mindfulness? The simple answer is NO, meditation comes naturally when we focus on our breathing, paying attention to the act of breathing in and breathing out, practicing deep breathing results in disciplining our mind to ‘let go’. Why should we meditate? To meditate enables us to feel total rest,  sit straight, keeping your back straight, this is very important. The neck and head should be aligned to the spinal column

When we pay attention to our breath, we are learning how to return to, and remain in, the present moment—to anchor ourselves in the here and now without judgement.

Reiki meditation is the natural way to let go of stress and the chaos our lives sometimes gets filled with. Meditation is a way of life, not a technique, as we are led to believe, it’s ‘feeling’ it. It is impossible to completely let our busy minds go, but just spending a moment in mindfulness, we begin to strengthen and restore our balance. These moments can be many throughout the day and night, breathing deeply and slowly is meditation.

Going deep within us to our true nature is meditation, we begin to feel stronger, letting go of anger and worry and becoming compassionate to ourselves and others.
